Note: Verbal permission may be given to manually operate specific dual control switches within the limits of Rule 577 authority that did not include Rule 577.1 authority for those switches.
  2. (b)When switching is to be performed over a spring switch, which is included in the limits of a work authority prescribed by Rule 577, the indication of the signal governing operation over such switch may be considered suspended if the switch is properly lined.
